The big D

We went to a park downtown Detroit. It is right near the water and you can see Canada. Behind the kids is the big GM building. We went on the "People mover" which is a odd version of the metro. It only goes one direction and hits all the main places downtown D. It cost only .75. It is fun for the kids and we get to have a quick sight of all of the D,,, ugly and all.
Near the park is a fun waterfountain and nice walkway along the river. It is a nice place for a Saturday stroll with the family.

I love that you are so willing to explore with the kids. I think there are lots of chances for you to learn about people and things. If you live in Detroit, you should know about it and have been to all its fun places. The waterfront park looks like a blast!
